She earned a BFA in creative writing from the University of North Carolina at Wilmington. Born and raised in the mountains of Tennessee, then moved twenty minutes from the beach in North Carolina with her husband and their two cats, Whisky and Orkney. She is very fond of baked goods and is always on the lookout for hints of magic in the real world.

She’s the author of two women’s fiction novels and two young adult novels and is also an amazing human being.
